Mrs. Orcutt's driveway...

Does anyone know if "Mrs. Orcutt's driveway" still exists and/or where it's
located?  I mentioned it to a friend last night and he doesn't believe that
it ever existed; he claims it was actually a myth perpetrated by all of the
west coast car magazines and I disagree ... can anyone settle this for us?

(BTW, for those of you who have never heard of it, "Mrs. Orcutt's driveway"
is an 8-mile long two-lane road out in the middle of nowhere that serves as
her driveway ... apparently, she had some political connections and got her
own exit off the new interstate highway that was being built.  The road was
frequently used by magazines to run top-speed tests ... as such, I think it
has to be reasonably close to Los Angeles but don't know for sure.)
