I was considering Alldata until one of the listers (I forget who) expressed
frustration with the retrieval system for the information for his car.  I
believe it was because the menu would refer him to the technical service
bulletins included on the CD.  If this is the case then Alldata has built in
a way to make you unlock both sections on the CD for your car.  This means
paying $29.95 for the initial unlocking for your car and also 19.95 to
unlock the service bulletin section.  If this completes the total data then
I suppose it is still a better deal.  If you are interested in more than one
model of Audi from the same disc I would ask them if each specific model and
engine and drivetrain needs to be unlocked.  If this is the case then that
makes it $50.00 per indivdual configuration. It becomes a matter of
economics and usability.  The company does say that there is a 30 day trial.
Any more thoughts from that original poster who had tried the CD?
