Re: Light nerdin

Not "yet", I might propose.
Geometrically, by definition, a problem. A simple test Eric, please take a
protractor and measure the upangle on the euro lense pattern from level, and
the height of the vector angle to the ground (you can do it on the light, or
on a wall with the posted wall to lense distance). Since you have "aligned"
your lights correctly, we can do some math on that angle and figgr how far
from the truck you need to pass for "no effect." My own trick was always to
get really close and pass quickly, minimizing the time of the blind, never
eliminating it However, you couldn't get close enough to prevent the left
side light from the "blind". Please post your results, and we can compare
them to the drawings. BTW, Phil, can you post up your two upangles as well,
I would really like to see for comparo what UK is doing differently from EC,
most intriguing that I can't find a reference for that anywhere yet. Eric,
if you have the light meter test results too? If you can't get the angle
stuff, I have a set accessible here.

Thanks

Scott
