procmail is similiar but it runs from your .forward so you can use
it with any mailer.
The nice thing about procmail is that it will do arbitrary filtering,
and it will do it as soon as the mail is received -- so you can throw
away autoacks, and you can set up a selective autoresponder, and you
can strip away the Reply-To: header on mailing lists that add it.
Unix has no shortage of good mailreaders... you can also use the new Gnus.
