Electrical Nightmare 89 200Q

 Good Day!

        I have a number of problems with my 89 200Q. None of these problems
is critical yet a recent post caused me some concern. It stated that a
faulty speedo can wreack the instrument circut board.The reason I am
concerned is that my cars speedo and instument lights are not working properly.
        When I rescued the car off the back lot of a local dealer ship It
had been parked for some time. It requierd a lot of work but it seemed in
nice shape. To Date I have fixed most of the mechanical problems yet others
I can not understand. These are the problems:

SPEEDO
  -  When I got the car the speedo jumped considerably, ie driving at 50KMh
the speedo would jump between 30kmh and 60kmh.
-After driving the car for a while it got better and after a few weeks it
opertated normaly.
-When winter hit it, the speedo started jumping again, after driving for
about 30min it will operate properly.
- If the speedo is jumping the Odometer will not always count, some times it
will count.
- If I hit the dash when the speedo is jumping it often will operate normally.
 
2 INSTRUMENT LIGHTS

-when first purchased, if headlights(HL) off clock and cmpt contained white
light (I think this is normal)
- When HL on, both signal light indicators are on bright and the high beam
indicator was on dim, The clk and cmpt lights were dead as were the lights
that lite up the low numbers on the speedo, and the high numbers on the tach.
-all the driving lights operate normally.
- When operating signal lights Indicator on wrong side goes bright then off,
indicator on right side goes super bright.
THE FIRST SUPER COLD DAY HERE THINGS CHANGED. 
-The temp was -35c and there is no plug in were I park
- When the car statred the clk and cmpt where lite by a dark red light( not
right?)HL off
- When I turned on the lights the Instrument lights worked properly, almost,
the clk light and the high numbers on the tach were out.
- When the interior warmed up on the way home, the old symptoms came back
- this happens now whenever it is very cold, some times the instrument light
work for a number of days then they conk out again.
THERE IS NOTHING THAT BOTHERS ME MORE.
If it works great if it does not thats ok, but if it works sometimes and
does not others I get crazy.

CLIMATE CONTROL

My climate control is itermitant as well now, some times the heater flap
stays on hot and As i bake in the audi/ hot box, I can here things opening
and closing in both foot wells. When the system is stuck on hot  I can bake
on auto,econ,defrost or Bi-level .
SOME DAYS IT WORKS OTHERS, NOT 
Could this be the black box by the door on the pass side.

ANY HELP WITH ANY OR ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
