Al, Al, Al,
Don't know what to do with you,
Please send your multi viscosity oil (after app. 1000 miles) to an oil
analysis test (independent laboratory) and this is what you will find out:
YOUR OIL IS SINGLE GRADE, surprise, surprise, surprise......(true also for
std. oils)
Here is another one for you my friend ( I mean it, the friend part) all
oils lose very quickly their multi viscosity characteristics, in a short
time!!!!!!
This is how it goes, if you have a 10W30 the oil will change closer to the
heavy oil meaning app. 20, 25 W and will stay that way......If you have
20W 50 it will change to app. 35,40W......
The above is also the reason that heavy duty oils are (for the most part)
SINGLE WEIGHT.......
How about it, is it, a big surprise?
I still owe you and psycho Bob a more "oil" detailed post, I will get it
done soon (maybe this weekend).
With deep respect to all my dear friends at the list (sorry Psycho bob, it
was another Barney).
