Add-on HID Lites

At the risk of being accused of encouraging the long lighting discussion, I
note that my Jaunary 30, 1997 Autoweek back cover has an advert for KC
HiLites HID add-ons.

"The only high intensity discharge lighting available for immediate

The drawing shows a typical add-on type round light, with internals
revealing definitely non-standard electrical bits, including the black box
full of circuits.

My guess is that these are somewhat spendy, but they must have some
confidence in their reliability if they are offering them to race teams of
this caliber...
