"Active aerodynamics," or in Marketing parlance, a USP (unique selling
proposition).  The VW Corrado had such a "feature" as well.  Darn near
useless at the speeds mortals travel.  The sort of thing you'd expect from
the gee-whiz feature-laden Japanese cars of recent past.
