Audi 100 (1989) poor cornering
My recently acquired 1989 Audi 100 Avant is not very good at going around
corners - constant adjustments need to be made to the steering wheel, so
obviously it needs some new bushings/shocks etc.
I would be grateful for any recommendations as to which bushings are most
likely to cause this problem. I think the shocks are suspect anyway as they
are probably original (the car has done 115k) and they rattle a little over
deep potholes.
I used Boge Turbo Gas shocks on my 80q with excellent results. Should I go
for these again for the Avant? I don't want to end up with a stiff
suspension - the car is a family car intended for long comfortable journeys,
but it would be nice if it went around corners without scaring me silly.
