Batteries - Interstate Versus Die Hard



I second Bob Dunne's high opinion of Interstate batteries.   The one in
my 4KSQ is holding up well after two years.  I recently installed two
giant economy size models in my Ford diesel pickup, solving once and
for all (I hope) its reluctance to stir in chilly weather.

Years ago before the apparent decline in quality, I used to buy Die
Hards.  Even then we referred to the product as the Die Easy because it
never lasted the guaranteed five years.  Four was more like it.  You
went back to Sears and got a $10 credit toward a new battery.  Of
course they must have planned it that way . . .
