Re: Differential Oil Weight?

Follow the factory recommendation, synthetic oil, as for brand: Valvoline,
Amsoil, Redline are some of list suggestions, take your pick...

How well does your car start? do you plug it in? is it parked in a garage?
a lot of listers like Mobil 1, some like Amsoil, some Redline, take your
pick (they are all synthetic) I would caution you that on a car with a lot
of miles synthetic can cause you problems you never had before (Nomex on!),
as in: increased oil consumption, additional leaks etc. if you decide to go
synthetic, make sure that you change the first batch (of synthetic) in
about 1K miles, synthetic oil has a detergent effect so it will loosen up a
bunch of internal grime in the bowels of your engine.

make sure your car is warmed up and drive it as usual, the only extra
caution you need to practice is; let the car warm up while driving (very
difficult to worm up a car in idling only).

same as always, just take it easy till the car warms-up, and at shut down
let the car cool-off for a minute or so.
