Audi roof rack

Leah,
I use a Yakima rack on my 5000 and 100.
I bought the bars and a basket carrier thing.   Use it for hauling a canoe
and other big things.  The clip system works well with the Audi doors and
the quality is good.  I needed more room for camping gear and bought the
sears 18 cu. ft clamshell box for $100.  Lots of room but >not<
aerodynamic.  I strap it onto the Yakima bars and basket w/ the wire basket
turned upside down to provide a flat surface support.  This seems pretty
secure and I've drived thousands of highway miles with it in all kinds of
weather.  No problems.  I considered the Yakima Rocket-box, but it is way
more expensive and not as roomy. I'm sure it is better than the Sears box
quality wise, much nicer looking, and more aerodynamic.  MAybe it's shape
and size would better suit your needs.
