As much as some of our members despise minivans (I do too) they have a
definite utility that is hard to deny. They are great for long trips
with the family, picking up groceries, and all those little trips that
require lots of stuff (taking the band to the gig!) If I had to have a
minivan (and that day _may_ come eventually) I sure would love for it to
be an Audi Quattro minivan. Personally, I think that the drivetrain in
the 5KCSTQ is so overbuilt, you could easily build a minivan around it
and the extra weight would hardly bother it.
Did you notice the latest Chrysler minivan ads? "The ultimate
winter accessory - full time AWD" I'd count that as a significant step in
the right direction. Mark my words, Chrysler will be the first American
automaker to offer a decent AWD car in this country :-)
