Is this a good lease deal?
I have been looking for a A6QW and think I have found a really good
lease, but would appreciate some feedback. Has following options:
leather
all weather
comfort/convience
quattro package option - 16" wheels, q, glass roof, remote locking
Dealer is aware that I know invoice and origionally was going to lease
at $890 over invoice, with 0 down/36 month/15k year for $543.00 month.
I believe the money factor was .00217 or 5.2% but may be off by a few
hundreds of a percentage. Residual was $23,385.00. This is through
VCI.
Now, its five days later, its the end of the month, he told me about
AoA allocation system and he wants AoA sending more cars, so he needs
to move what he has, also end of month, yada, yada, yada, so he will
try to get AoA to waive security deposit (depending on credit rating)
and says he can do absolutely 0 down, which fits my personal budget
better. New numbers are 15,000 miles per year @ .15 over the limit. 36
month lease @ $529.00 month. Pending AoA waiving security, but I don't
have new residual figure. But this sounds pretty good to me. Dealer
sales manager says these new numbers represent around a $350
(thereabouts) profit.
To me, 0 down/$529 month for the wagon with all those options is a
good deal. Should I be excited, or should I expect somebody raining on
my parade?! Appreciate any feedback.
