My 2c worth on insurance.

I am 23, married, and live in the city (in Australia).

I own a 1981 urQ valued at about $25-$30K AUS.

I lost my license from speeding three years ago. My wife has written off
one of our previous cars (BMW) on a joint policy 12 months ago. I have
never had an accident. ever.

My premium $2500- per year with a $600 excess (deductible?). Just
reduced from $900.

5 days after buying the car it rolls down the driveway and into the
retaining wall. $16K worth of damage and 2 months wait (and counting).
They had just better hurry up.
