1. Ive had this problem. Your first step is to unplug the blower, play
around with the controller (the in-dash unit, be it electronic or manual)
and see if the fan is getting 12v, if so, the fan is at fault.

2. If the fan is messed, I suggest you hope you don't have A/C. If you do,
a mechanic will want four or five hours for the operation. There are
postings somewhere around here about the job, but I didn't feel like
messing with it.

3. I found the fan for $125.00. Bosch.  If you pay more than this, you
haven't looked hard enough.

4. The plastic blade part of the motor/fan tends to break on junkyard
parts. IMHO, buy a NEW part. If you cannot find the blower for $125 or
less, email me directly and I will forward you the numbers for two places
that had a great price on them.

Good luck, man. They had to drill through the wheel wells on my dad's car,
pricey job.
