much solvent at all. I found that if you pulled the film off correctly the
adhesive came with it. [I wish I could tell you the procedure ... but it
was ~10 years ago] I just tried pulling at different rates ... too slow
and the adhesive stuck to the window. In any case, the adhesive was not
unlike rubber cement and I found that by rubbing from the edges toward the
center of a patch of adhesive I could get most of it off. I used cigar-
ette lighter fluid to get the rest off, but if I were doing it today I'd
use "Goo Gone." I wouldn't worry about damaging the windows or stock
tinting as long as you don't use something that might scratch the windows.
Be careful of the defrost traces on the rear window ...
