Re: Audi poster

In a message dated 97-02-05 11:47:00 EST, you write:

<< I was at the local Audi dealer yesterday and saw a poster in their window.
I don't remember exactly what it said, but it showed a snow-immersed packing
lot where you could barely see the cars buried under the snow. There was
only one empty space and one set of tire tracks leading off the bottom of
the poster. The printing made some remarks about the Q and it's powers in
 the snow.
I asked the people at the dealership about buying one, but I just got blank
stares from them. The same kind of stares I got when I asked them if they
had a 1997 calendar for loyal customers. Does anyone know where I could get
this print ?

There is no good answer to your question. Sometimes elves bring them in.
Sometimes posters show up at the dealership hidden in a secret compartment
of a box of new model year intro kit stuff... maybe put together
by the ad agency or their printer or sub contractor. Most posters hanging
in my parts department (I'm a Porsche + Audi Parts Manager) were stolen after
hours
from the showroom walls or rescued from the dumpster.

There is a lot of demand for posters, mostly from dealer employees like
myself. Need I tell you what adorns the walls of my (3) sons bedrooms ?

I don't know how the AoA web page people might respond to comments
that they should be available for more than just the life of the particular
promotion, but if VOA had never gotten feedback FROM CUSTOMERS you
never woud have seen the availability of hats & t-shirts etc. on their
Far-From-Poopin campaign.
