Two more Downshifting items

Two more things about downshifting:

1) A double-clutch downshift ALSO spins the gears in the front half
of the transmission, which matches their speed to the rest of the
driveline, making a smoother shift. (Thanks, Phil Payne, for the
reminder..)

2) The great Stirling Moss was once quoted about saving brakes by
double-clutching:

"Brakes are cheaper than clutches."

And, I might note, easier to replace.

TTFN.
