RE: Downshifting for Normal Driving



I'm going to end up sounding like a real ole fart if I keep responding to
these posts. But, what the hey - I learn and drove British sports cars
from my teens through twenties, you know the ones with "Lucas Prince of
Darkness" electrics. Anyway, I was taught, and continue today, to always
put trans in neutral, clutch pedal out while waiting at stops, etc. Never
hold car on hill with clutch.
