Yeah, I know (see my recent repost). I got that kit for $15 locally this
past Summer.

Along with a P/S pump rebuilt I replaced the bomb, a pressure hose and
rebuilt the rack. You gonna need a coupla special tools, in order to do
the rack. I had to machine mine. If you are serious about rebuilding it
yourself, I can give you the dimensions, so you won't spread the whole
project over a week's time, waiting for a machinist to build the tools.

The rack rebuilt is a fairly complex job. It ain't no simple caliper or
P/S pump rebuild, x-cuze my English here.
But like I said in a previous post, I had some horrible experience with
the hydrolic parts, rebuilt by a third party, so as of several years ago
I either perform the rebuild myself (zero failure rate so far) or bite
the bullet and buy a new unit, if a rebuilt kit is unavailable.
