Apparently they really bent over backwords for you. It's one thing
for a dealer to have an assortment of Audi loaners for scheduled
maint, but on the spot to pull a 1.8 ( In considerable demand ) out of stock
(probablly floor planned) and put it in loaner/demo service to me is a
sign of a company that respects you and wants you as a customer.

Bad things should not happen, especially to such a new car, but they do.
The warrany, roadside assistance & loaner aren't there to tell you that
bad things can't happen. They are there to tell you that if they do, Audi
will step to the plate. To me it sounds like the dealer did the job they
are supposed to. Ok, so the tensioner took a crap. Give them a chance
to make it right. If the valves did hit the pistons and the compression
leaked
out onto the ground, give them till Wed. or Thurs and flog the 1.8T not the
dealer.
