Well, the $2.25 "Motormite" sockets I have are rated at 10A and that
should be 135W.  Even if you have to derate them (do you?), they are
still adequate, barely, for the 90/100W bulbs I have now.  But it's just
sloppy engineering to use those plastic things.

I'm hoping the ceramics are available in the US somewhere -- maybe as
a motorcycle part?  I don't know anyone who could find out.
