odd problems

Two weird problems for debate.

a) on the 84 4ksq, there is a key position/pin that triggers the
electricals off the alternator, ie load reduction relay is a
better way of explaining it. Lately it's been 'sticky' in that
sometimes I will start the car, but no juice to radio, wipers, etc
and voltmeter shows 12v. After playing with the key a bit, I get
it to work. I sprayed the heck out of the lock with WD40 tonight,
but anyone know of a better fix short of replacing the lock?
If I do replace it, can I get the new lock rekeyed to the old key
or will I need new keys, and new locks for doors, trunk, glovebox,
etc?

b) On the 85 4ksq, I sometimes get a flicker of the high pressure
light and buzzer. While I know what it means, this is pretty
rare, so any clues as to what is up? I suspect flakey sensor
maybe, what do you think?

You'll be glad to know that the 84 is running well these days,
and only needs rear control arm bushings, front strut bearings,
and an alignment, then it's a day of detailing and finally some
pictures. Well, I need to paint and install the front spoiler
but that should be pretty easy. If anyone is doing any paint work
in Tornado Red soon, let me know :)
