Keith,

Prices around the country are indeed all over the map (purposeful pun). I
have seen V8 prices increase here in the Pacific NW. In fact we could sell
our V8 now for about what we paid for it. Remember, if you're selling a
quattro, winter is THE time to do it. Prices seem to increase whenever we
have a bad ice storm! If you live in a warmer state, I think you're out of
luck. BTW, you'll never get Blue Book for it, no matter what state you sell
it in. And many car dealers get your trade-in for free (yes free) and still
make a profit on the car you buy. It's all in how you shuffle the numbers.
I have friends and relatives in the car business. Oh, the stories they
tell... and they're the nice car sales-people! Good luck.
