FWIW, if you CAREFULLY read the original post, and then read mine, you would
not have directed this toward me, nor interpreted this discussion to mean
that the OEM A4 rims are inherently useless by design or in practice.

Please note that I QUOTED the original message (i.e. "useless"), which
actually referred to the 16" rims as being *useless* only as leftovers after
upgrading to other rims (i.e. taking up space in the garage).

Neither my response nor the original message was intended to state or imply
that the A4 16" rims are useless in the sense that you perceived.

Your response/argument relative to a Plus 1 application is a valid one, but
it was misdirected in this case.

Sorry, but I just had to set the record straight.... (i.e. remove the
inserted words from my mouth, state my original intention, and clear my name!!).
