This light is the coolant level sensor. I would also take the coolant
resevour off the car. This is done by removing two screws and undoing some
hose clamps.
After this is done, I would clean out the tank with a mild detergent, warm
water, and a small "wheel cleaning" brush. Sometimes a lot of "muck" can
accumulate in the tank and cause some sticking up of the level sensor in the
tank. This happened on my '86 4KCSq. Also why you are at it, flush the
system and use the dealer "Autobahn" antifreeze/coolant.(This is probably one
of the only products I buy from the dealer.) This makes a world of
differance in my H2O temp guage (car is running much cooler).
Hope I helped
