Imagine the possibilities of a police officer having an accident with
all the toys he has at arm's reach, including the cellular phone!!
Note also that the study involved 699 persons with cell phones. Not
much of a scientific analysis. I'd argue that some sleepy drivers (and
the folks around them) might actually fare better when driving while
conversing with a hands free unit. On the other hand, I have seen a
driver with the cell phone in one hand, the eye liner in the other hand,
the radio blasting and a big mac on the dash board. Get out of her way!
