I own an 86 GT Coupe(slightly modified-NO Vacuum leaks) with a schrick
272 cam
no vacuum pump on head, and it will run all day without the oil cap or
dipstick!
Now before it was "modified" removing the oil cap would change rpm's,
but that was the extent of that!
Even my 88-90Q will run without oil cap! (Just tried it) No vacuum
leaks either!
The mystery thickens!
