Could be true - OR - if it's like my car, it's the pressure accumulator,
$700 from the dealer, $200-250 aftermarket.  With the engine OFF, press the
break pedal repeatedly.  If it gets hard in something less than 20 presses
that's the culprit with varying degrees dependent on # of presses.  I've
been driving with the light on for a few weeks now, just have to be careful
and remember to use a little extra pressure on the pedal.  I don't believe
this is a tough fix, just expensive parts - use it as a bargaining chip.
