I had a warm start problem once (had to push start my car across a busy
Boston intersection, GF & I in nice clothes, too!) that turned out to be a
complex list of things out of whack. Poor starter, using too much current,
resulting in not enough spark to start my engine which had an improperly
adjusted CIS system.
John at Carworks (Lee NH) scratches his head and thinks back to Jettas he
was fixing ten years ago whenever I have a CIS problem but he usually
recovers the files and troubleshoots it quite well.
