Super-dooper engine treatments
Ok, I really hate to even ask this question especially since I myself
am going to cry if I see any more debate over the Synth vs. Dino
juice thread but it seems now is as good a time as any.
Has anyone spent the $$$ on one of these "wonder treatments" for
your engine like: Prolong or Motor Up or XR2or whatever it's called?
These infomercials make their product look so good by pulling the
drain plug and then driving the poor car around a race track or up
steep hills and in city driving with no problems(so they claim) I
just can't see that Dodge Viper driving around that track all day for
hours on end without something seizing up. Has any lister out there
treated their own car's engine with this stuff and then pulled the
drain plug and then driven in a Q-club event to see if it really
works? (Please, I'm just kidding!!)
I laugh every time I see one of these damn infomercials but someone tell
me of their experience with one of these products. Increased MPG?
Less lifter noise? A gain of 500 horsepower? But please, no
Slick 50 or Duralube stories. Again, I'm sorry to ask this question
and waste BW. TIA,
Chad Clark
P.S. Avi, I'm sure you've used all of these eh? He he :-)
