Has anyone heard whether dealers are stocking and/or
taking trade-ins? Any ideas on price?
Thanks.

I know what you mean, John. When my Delta finally went out on me I replaced
it (twice) with a replacement Gamma unit, since they don't reman the Deltas
anymore. Around $100 with exchange and 1 year warranty. This was for the
Bose version. Maybe the still make the deltas in the regular versions, in
which case I'd definitely upgrade to an aftermarket stereo system.
Trade offs from Delta to Gamma --my experience:
Good: Tape forward/reverse scan functions
Bad: Poorer reception, non-programmable antitheft code
Notable: Gamma unit has built-in flashing red anti-theft light when radio is
not on. Additional drain on battery when car is parked for extended periods
(like at airports).
