Re: Driving /Fog Lights
I looked at what was available from various manufacturers, bought a set
of PIAA model 1500XT fog lites for my '90 Coupe Quattro. The are about
6" wide by only 2" high, fit nicely under front bumper, have top quality
fittings and wiring harness, and light they put out is far superior to OE.
Problem is cost (approx. $250). Also, they also have a driving lite in same
size. Both use 55W bulb, supposedly has light output of 85W bulb.
Candlepower: Fog - approx. 24,000
Driving - approx. 65,000
They also have several other models; do a net search on PIAA and go to
a company called "Cartronics"; they have a nice description of the full
line of PIAA lights.
If you have an "Eastern Off-Road" store near you, check them out
personally.

Fellow Audians; has any one had any experience with Catz fog or
driving lights? Have been looking at the MSP, MSX, CSD. TIA for your
wisdom. GregJ
