RE: Buying assistance needed for 1.8 A4Q
The ambient temperature gauge is only available on the 1.8T as part of
the cold climate package (ski sack and gauge only in Canada -- we get
heated seats, nozzles and locks as standard). I wouldn't pay US$700 for
the gauge alone, but heated seats are real nice ... and I plan to use
the ski sack for my hockey sticks! :-) Anyway, in Canada, the reduced
package costs only about US$200.
I'm quite pleased with the standard radio unit, but didn't find Bose
impressive enough to upgrade ... but your standards may vary from mine!
Can't really give you much advice about price negotiations in the US ...
