     Well, when the "christmas tree" lights up it's usually an indicator
     that somethings wrong and the tranny has defaulted to "limp home"
     mode.  It could have just been an electronic burp and will
     never happen again.  If it does light up and not go out, then
     you should post exact symptoms (no power etc).
     When I was contemplating adjusting my fuel gauge, the damn
     thing started giving me the "low gas" warning everytime I'd
     start the car cold, and last most of the day. When I decided
     to leave the gauge alone....it stopped doing this, cars trying
     to tell me something.
