V8/200 20v Control Arm Bushings

I've recently found my suspension a little less than satisfactory (wretched
Michigan roads don't help). So I took the '90 V8 in to my local technician
friend, suspecting control arm bushings were worn out.

Symptoms: Excessive jarring on bumps from steering wheeel, loose suspension
sound on very bumpy pavement, mostly on right side by sound of it. Also, not
as crisp steering response (Blizzaks on dry pavement notwithstanding).
Viola! Front inner control arm bushings on the wane, rear inner trapezoidal
bushings shot. Also front outer bushings marginal.

Car has UFO to 200 brake conversion.

Now in case you 200 20v people are wondering why you're included in this
request (and I might be blowing smoke), is that I believe these parts on our
cars are the same (same track, etc. -please correct me if I'm wrong).

Has anyone replaced these pieces? The dealer says:

2 - 441 407 181 (Europarts say they're only for 92-94 V8) ? maybe because
they already converted brakes by then?

4 - 431 407 181F is correct for 89-91 models $13.96 each (Europarts have)
These are the outer control arm bushings

2 - 4D0 511 523A for the rear, but they are Audi dealer only at $62.35 each

I E-mailed my request to Europarts via their Web Site this afternoon and
received a response from Steve Shock in what I consider a timely manner ( 5
hrs). Anyone with any comments on them?

I'm going to have my tech do the work. I trust him and he has the experience
and tools. I figure dealer parts cost ~$350 plus same for labor (shop has to
get its cut, you know). Sound about right?

TIA

PS: Good to see Peter Henriksen's conversing on the web...what therapy, and
probably going to find another ride in the process.
