G'day Pete

Glad to see you're still with us, but dont be so self depreciating. I
believe, like you, that the UFO setup is superior to the 5K/200
alternative.

My prob is the cost of rotors. In Oz we do not get the option of factory
rebuilds. If I could have changed rotors & got good pads, as you have
ordered, fitted?, for a reasonable price, I wouldnt have a pair of stuts
caliper & rotors in storage. The bottom line is, as per Audis' original
design specs, the UFO is a big rotor inside a comparitely small wheel.

The bottom line is, use the info available on the list! The UFO is a big
rotor, if you can live with the cost of replacement rotors (every ?
years) & fit superior pads ie CC Pagid etc you'll have excellent brakes.
If you cant wear the cost (eg me) fit 200/5k brakes & CC's etc & you'll
get a very good street braking setup, with relatively cheap maintenance.
Want the best?, then go with the racing setup of your choice, high
initial cost, high maintenance cost, high performance braking., & argue
in court because your insurance co walks away from your accident claim
because the vehicle has been altered from manufacturers specs. BTDT dont
want to do it again.
