Hey!! I had been a faithful Motor Trend subscriber for more than ten years
(when I was young and stupid!!), and never got even a personalized thank
you!! In fact, all I kept getting was renewal notices to subscribe at rates
higher than the new subscribers!! Tell me THAT'S fair!! At one point, I
finally revolted, since I was tired of subsidizing the new subscribers, and
quit. Then I sent in one of the new subscriber cards out of the mag!! They
never caught on!! (Please don't anyone sell me out now!! Let's keep it our
little secret??)

Well, I guess that the mags finally realized that long-term subscribers
deserve something!! (But this much... Yikes!!)
