Fixed my hesitating 5kcdq
Fellow Audi fanatics,
Sunday was a day of joy for me as I finally solved the great mystery of the
4000 rpm power loss. It turned out to be the fuel control pressure regulator
(mounted on the engine block). I found a used one for $100 Cdn. and wasted no
time in installing it. I am very happy with the results, however I think that
the CO adjustment is off, I heard that this can be adjusted with the use of a
multimeter. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, I was wondering what the boost pressure guage should read, mine doesn't
seem to go over 1.4 bar could this be because of the CO value? Or maybe I'm
not hard enough on the gas pedal?
I think that the next thing for me is to get chipped, and change the WG
spring, any recommendations?
Thanks to all who sent suggestions.
