ABS controller- dangling 2 wire harness

While trying to solve an elusive ABS problem, (87 5kcstq) I've found a pair
of wires that come out of the contoller, that are not connected to anything.
Unable to find these wires in the Bentley. One is black, the other black/blue
tracer, they come out of the contoller harness in a black sleeve that runs
under the metal lip where the front edge of the seat rests, and ends about 6
inches from the battery. They terminate in a 90 degree rubber harness with a
"U" shaped clip-which gives the impression it's really suppossed to stay
attached something.

If anyone is putting around in that area, I'd appreciate if you could
look/see if yours is similar or attached to something.
