Hehe..... Fish on!
Oh yea, sorry, usually when I see 870 units of power associated with cars it
is rated as Amps, my mistake. One like me, might smile at the above
bic-flick, and say, too bad some can't add either Amps or Watts... Ah,
here's my calculator, let me AMPlify your Wattage FOR YOU, you "shorted"
yourself (ALL interpretations of pun intended):
Car: '87 5ktq, Hail Damage, mods "as claimed"
Lights: Parabolic "Aero Euro beam" H4/H3
CLAIMED per your posts
* High beam @ 600W
* Low beam @ 270 W
================
TOTAL CLAIMED "flash to pass" = 870 (64amps) @ 13.59375v
REALITY per your posts
High beam inners are 2 X 130 H3 = 260w
High beam outers are 2 X 180 H4 = 360w
Low beam outers are 2 X 135 H4 = 270w
=================================
Total Actual "flash to pass" 890w (65.47amps) @ 13.59375v
I though Phil already tried this combo? Some more research might find even
more watts in the H3.....

Please do include my omissions, I'm flatuated further now... Old technology,
get specific.... I do my homework, and in fact, I'll do some more for the
mystic challenged, this 5ktq is getting larger than life itself......
The latest claim is, and I quote:
>"You've got the first part and actually it's the IA 2.0Bar box RSR Turbo
>(A Ned Ritchie Turbo... Blows the RS2 into the Weeds!) 2B is the 2'nd
>iteration of brake mods." - S.O.C. quote 2-7-97 and contradicts one of
less than a year ago if one was to browse the archives.....
Silly me, just might deduce from that statement, that: 1) Ned sells an "RSR"
unit, and 2) that the claimant might have purchased said unit from IA and 3)
some datapoints from a turbo map, RS2 "race" results, a measurement of Intake
Air temps, volume or boost might prove this out, and 4) a recent post
appeared that said Ned was "recommending the RS2" units for the high end flow
capabilities was in error... Hmmmmmm.... Never sweating, just always
facinated by fast/er/est q claims... Remember, everything documented on
claims and statements is easily accessible in the archives, here on this
list, and elsewhere.....
For/to the list: I am and do modify turbos as a business, as does Ned, my
questioning of claims is the result of 3 years of turbo modifications (10
into my 5ktq alone), always pushing the envelope. My research on turbos and
baselines and others' "claims" and designs is extensive. I will post some
more positive nerdy stuff following this, so some of you aren't as blinded by
the Diabolically (D) reflected claims... I encourage you to explore your
options available. Some of the "claims" that are not backed up by some sort
of specifics might, and should, make you question the claim itself. This
appies to suspensions, turbos, radiators, engine tweeks..... "Blowing RS2's
into the weeds" is hardly a contrast or a comparison. A claim of superior
prowess usually is the summation of frustration due to reality. Fast, faster
and fastest.... Me, I just drive and tweek leetle audi turbo cars that
"claim" to do nothing.... :)
Patiently, I remain, standing in the weeds, blinded and whooshed, stained
armpits dripping, 20w shy of full elightenment, 1.5amps2B,
