RS2 Turbocharger (?)

Hello,

I just finished reading that great post on the turbochargers, etc.  I have one
question though, from what I understand the RS2 Audi came with a K26 turbocharger
with an 8cm housing, is that correct, or is it a 6cm hot housing?

The reason why I ask is because I'm contemplating a turbo upgrade for the
Porsche which comes with a K26-8 turbocharger.  The engine on my car is 2.5L
so it should compare well to the Audi units.  I had an Audi member email me 
about turbos a while back and mentioned that he had gone for a ride in a 
Quattro equiped with a K27 and the lag was ridiculous.  Is the RS the car that
Porsche designed or is that the RSR???
