In 1994 I bought an audi 90 quattro 1988 and have on clock 115986 miles
I switch to amsoil(I flush first)then put in 10w40 synt. (temp in
caribbean 85 deg.)amsoil oil filter(asf-34)and amsoil air filter.and
well this what happend.during first 1500 miles i get comsumption more or
less 2.0q.then wait 1500 and get 1.5q consuption.when change oil again
new oil filter and 5qt of synt oil 10w40.wait 1500 miles drop only 1.5qt
and another 1500 miles 1qt.the third time very much the same as before
get nothing.synt.oil has the property to clean all the dirt in your
engine in fact amsoil is not only oil it's a system to prevent
catastrophic engine damage.not to mention better idle speed,gas
milage,keep engine very clean,temp down(20deg less)well it the mothers
of all oil but you know people use anykind of oil.
