Re: 2.3 motor in 4000Q....

Wrong. The body matching mirrors were for a commerateive edition that
supposedly was a tribute to the last of the 4kcsq's. NONE of them had
2.3l's in them. They are distinct in the fact that they had body matching
mirror's, blacked out door handles, blacked out badges, and "quattro"
cloth seats. The ONLY option for these cars was the Trip 'puter. Oh yeah,
if you had a white one, the had white wheels.

The only way that I can think of to spot a 2.3l 4kcsq, is the chrome
"rounded off" badging. not chrome like the the "silver" badges of the
early cars, but chrome badging like the 200's. Other than that, I couldn't
find any oher way to spot it.

The above applies to 87' 4kcsq's ONLY. Dunno about the coupes.
