Risky 'cause of the inability to control the distribution of the material
inside the cylinder head and block. One could end-up with extrodiary
pressure placed on a valve seat. Moreover, one could have a condition
where some of the foreign material becomes wedged between the piston and
the cylinder block. This condition could lead to a broken pistion ring or
or a scratched cylinder. It's a risk-reward proposition. Why risk a
$2-4K rebuild rather than spend $100 for a tool (that could probably be
sold to someone else on this news group upon completion of the job)?
