protecting/enhancing paint job

I hope this isn't a bad way to end my lurking and begin communicating with
the list. I saw one of those infomercials talking about miracle
polishes/refurbishers for paint jobs. My 86 4KCSQ looks pretty good, but
is getting a bit dull, has numerous small scratches, etc. Are there any
"miracles" out there? What do you all recommend for keeping it looking as
good as possible. Weekly paste waxing is out for me, I am too lazy/busy
for that.
