Hey, them's fighting words! Just kidding... everyone's entitled to their
opinion, as long as they realize they're wrong unless it's the same opinion
as mine! Sorry, I'm in a goofy mood today.
Speaking of the 100/A6, and I probably should stick more to speaking of
Audi's instead of wasting bandwidth (again, an apology), on my way to work
this morning, at dawn and 28 degrees F, I stopped by an automated,
touchless, carwash. This type of carwash uses high-pressure water spray for
everything. Anyway, I went with the under-carriage spray as well as the
standard wash and bogus wax (part of the package that includes the
under-carriage spray), and when I was driving away, I had a small cardiac
because the "Check Engine" symbol displayed for about 20 seconds :-o, went
out :-), came back on for about 10 seconds :-o, and then went out for good
:-). I'm thinking now that that was my last wash there, but I'm wondering
if anyone else has had this sort of problem? I hate to give that carwash
up, since it's on my way to work (more or less), cheap, won't leave
scratches on the paint, and it's a good way to clear the salt/muck that
accumulates here in New England, but if it gives me and my Audi seperate
heart attacks.. forget it!
