3M Headlight Protection...

Hi Guys,

I just completed mounting the 3M headlight film on both the Coupe's foglamps,
one of which I just replaced with a new one (due to car vs. curb, other half
took it out)...

Thanks to everyone who helped me with the bumper cover info!

Just some tips on mounting the film:

-Take off the foglamps if you want to do the job easier.
-Trace a template with paper, cut it out with a sharp blade. (box cutters
work very well)
-Take off the backing paper on the film, mount the film on the foglamps, then
trim with the boxcutters ....
-Mount the foglamps back on the airdam...

It's worth spending the extra $$ on the film to protect the $ 170
(discounted) price of each of them. Coupes are unique - have to buy the whole
lamp assembly, not like the other 80/90/100 series of 1990 vintage.

1990 CQ, 3M *not* on stock headlights, waiting for them to get taken out,
then replace with euro S2 pieces..
1986 Chevy Caprice, sidelined *still* due to parts (oil cooler lines)
shipment incoming...
