CONDITION:
engine power restricted
CAUSED
*Moisture separator in vacumm line between intake manifold and ECM leak.
*Vacumm line connection on intake manofold is partially blocked by
loctite contamination,as a result,ECM does not recognize actual boost
pressure
*Vacumm lines between intake manifold and ECM is kinked in area of fire
wall.
SERVICE:
-Check vacumm ines for leaks
-Check moisture separator,located in right side footwell near ECM.Pay
particular attention to correct welding of moisture separator housing
halves.
-if necessary,replace moisture separator P/N 034 131 527 A
-Check vacumm line connection at intake manifold and clean as
necesary.The connection must not be blocked or restricted
-Check vacumm line routing through firewall for kinks.
